The Euroregional Center for Democracy
(CED) is pleased to invite you to apply
for the participation in the "Cross-border
economic development strategies in the INTERNET
age" project. The program, implemented
with the support of the European Union through
the PHARE CBC fund, addresses
the representatives of small and medium sized
enterprises from Arad, Timis, Csongrad and Bekes
counties.
The project is based on two components: education
and information.
The education component is
composed of 3 training sessions,
with duration of 5 days each.
The training sessions will
be on the following topics:
-
Import-export legislation
and joint companies (March 31 - April 4, 2004)
-
Strategic development
(April 21- 25, 2004)
-
Electronic business and
marketing using IT/Internet tools (May 26
- 30, 2003).
The information component
provides a tool for disseminating
relevant information on cross-border cooperation
and specific means of communication
between SME's involved in such projects.
The activities of this component
are:
-
Regional SME fair
and the regional conference "Marketing
in the Internet age" (June 15 - 16, 2004)

Free of charge
IT services for participant SME's:
free web hosting and the development of specific
tools in order to facilitate the information
exchange through Internet (e-marketing and
newsletter with financing and crediting opportunities,
legal and financial news).
Participation to all components is free
of charge. All costs regarding transportation,
accommodation, boarding and IT services will
be covered by the Euroregional Center for Democracy.
