1. Project title
CROSS - BORDER Economic development strategies in the INTERNET age

2. Target Group
Small and medium sized enterprizes reprezentatives from ARAD, TIMIS, CSONGRAD and BEKES counties

3. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A. Objectives:
· Training of the representatives of Small and medium sized enterprises in order to be able to ellaborate cross-border strategies and activities

· Know-how transfer and implementation of the e-marketing (internet based) for SME's to enter in a regional cross-border business circuit

· Development of a specific site with cooperation opportunities and promotion of the SME's and products at a regional cross-border level and a monthly newsletter containing financing and crediting opportunities distributed through e-mail.

· Increasing the economic development of the region through the increasment of regional cross-border partnerships between Small and medium sized enterprizes, development of a cross-border network between SME's in the region.

B. Activities:
1.Education:
Training sessions in 3 relevant topics for cross-border cooperation, 5 days training for each topic, 15 persons/session. Training topics:

  1. Import-export legislation and joint companies
  2. Strategic development
  3. Electronic business and marketing using IT/Internet tools

2. Information:

  1. IT information and promotion services for SME's
  2. Regional cross-border partnership development
    1. Regional conference - "Marketing in the Internet age"
    2. Regional SME fair
