           The Euroregional Center for Democracy, the city Hall of Faget and the City Hall of Szentes is pleased to announce the launching of the Local development through economic and touristic cross-border mobility - Center for Communication - Promotion and Cross-border Marketing, Faget - Szentes project.

    CROSS - BORDER Economic development strategies in the INTERNET age

           The Euroregional Center for Democracy (CED) is pleased to invite you to apply for the participation in the "Cross-border economic development strategies in the INTERNET age" project. The program, implemented with the support of the European Union through the PHARE CBC fund, addresses the representatives of small and medium sized enterprises from Arad, Timis, Csongrad and Bekes counties.
The project is based on two components: education and information.     more

   Training and IT Services for Cross-border Projects Development
             The Euroregional Center for Democracy launched in February, 2003 the "Training and IT Services for Cross-border Projects Development" project. The program, implemented with the support of the European Union through the PHARE CBC fund, addresses the representatives of Timis, Arad, Bekes and Csongrad County Councils, the representatives from Sânnicolau Mare, Arad, Chisinau Cris, Szeged, Mako, Bekescsaba City Halls and the Romanian and Hungarian non-governmental organizations active in the field of cross-border cooperation. more


    DKMT - A Citizen's Euroregion
             The Euroregion Danube - Kris - Mures - Tisza was founded in 1997 and operates on the basis of a Cooperation Protocol signed by nine local authority presidents (eight county councils and an autonomous region) from Romania, Hungary and Yugoslavia.
             The Euroregional Center for Democracy and The Third Europe Foundation developed an advocacy project of medium length called DKMT - A Citizenship Euroregion, with the aim of strengthening the public - private partnership at the cross border institutions level. The main objective of the project refers to adopting a new cross border cooperation Protocol which stipulates the change the cooperation's coordination organism, The President's Forum, in a Coordination Council which will co-opt civic sector representatives too. Another important objective is the creation of an Euroregional fund which can also be accessed by non-governmental initiatives. more
