In Făget “Traian Vuia” Highschool is coordinator of all schools in the nine localities and also a Center for information, dissemination of information and budgetary management for 84 school units from the area. In the administrative area of  Făget there are also 11 kindergartens, Făget Town Hospital, four family doctor cabinets, three stomatology cabinets, Law Court, Cadaster Register, two public nottary offices, Treasury, Veterinary cabinet, Fire Department, Police and Forest Department, four pharmacies..
