Location

Situated on the North slope of Poiana Ruscăi Mountains, on the upper flow of Bega river, under Padeş (1378m) and Ruscă (1359m) peaks to the junction of Bega with its affluent Sasa. The locality is crossed from North to South by national road DJ28 that ties it to DN68A in Coşava village, through Româneşti-Tomeşti Sat-Tomeşti Colonie-Luncanii de Jos. The nearest railway station is Margina 14km away. 120km is the International Airport Timisoara.
