Flora and fauna
Dedidous trees are common for Lipova Hills in the North and Lugoj Hills in the South. Durmast and oak mix with ash tree, hornbeam, elm tree, linden tree and to South with beech. Bushes found in the area include hawthorn, sloe tree and cornel tree. Spring flowers contribute to the beauty of the region: snowdrop, lady’s delight, primula, evergreen.
Animals include species like squirrel, rabbit, badger, fox, wild pig, deer. Birds found in the area: pheasant, hoopoe, nightingale, wren, woodpecker, turtle. Reptiles: grey lizzard, green lizzard, snake, salamander.
In the meadow land: hair grass, refoil, dandelion, milfoil, bulrush, scouring rush, willow.
