Climate and landscape

The landscape is diverse, including low plains in Bega river meadow, high plains, plateau and low and medium hills. The hilly area joins the hills of Lăpugiu, Bulza, Lipova and Făget.

The soil presents alluviation tendencies.

The climate is temperate with small Mediteranean influences, winters are mild and summers not very hot and dry. The rain gauge is over 700mm.
