Climate and landscape

The climate in Făget is typical for temperate continental category and is under the influences of ocean currents from West which bring a high level of humidity, subtropical air from Mediteranean Sea and continental currents from East. Annual average temperature is  10-110C. In January it reaches 00C in Făget and -10C in the hilly areas. In July temperatures reach 20-210C. The rainfall is different from one month to another, according to the frequency and direction of currents. The maximum appears in June while the minimum in February.
