Location

Situated in the East of Timiş County, 97km from Timişoara and 27km from Lugoj, it has access from DN6 Timişoara-Lugoj and continuing with DN68A Lugoj-Deva. The commune includes three localities: Dumbrava, Răchita şi Bucovăţ.

The neighbouring localities are: Făget to North-East, Fârdea (Lake Surduc) to South-East, Traian Vuia to South-West, Mănăştiur to North-West. Dumbrava commune is also accessibile from DN68A, DJ609B and DC118.
