Location
Făget town is situated in South-West of Romania, on the river side of Bega. In the Eastern part of Timiş County, the town has as neighbours Arad County to North, Margina, Curtea, Tomeşti to East, Fârdea to South, and Dumbrava, Mănăştiur and Ohaba Lungă communes to West. Access to Lugoj (33km West) is made by DN68A. The national road to East connects also Făget to Deva (68km). The railway Lugoj-Făget-Ilia, first used on September 17, 1898, ties Timiş Valley to Mureş Valley. Distance to Timişoara - 98km.
The hearth f the locality is situated in Făget Depression, formed along a tectonic dislocation which continues with Banat Plain. The land in North reaches the South of Lipova Hills (202m) and Cârciobina and Măgura Hills (278-312m), while in South and South-East it reaches Beghei Hills and Lugoj Hills, in the nearby of Poiana Ruscăi Mountains.

- Begheiul Mic la 4km, asphalted road.
The total surface of the town is 15.087 hectares of which 1.010 hectares in-built land.
