Economics

Curtea commune is characterized by agricultural economy, because of the high landscape and the low region in the centre. The agricultural area represents 54,36% from the total area (2413,7 hectares from the total of 4438,9 hectares). Economic agents: a private mill, two timber companies, a bakery and six shops. The area offers conditions for fishing and hunting.
