Economy

Main works are agriculture and animal breeding, but they also include vegetable growing, cereal growing and fruit growing. The land measures 3346.01 hectares of arable soil, 967 hectares of meadows, 550 hectares of forests, and 38,81 hectares of rivers. Despite the qualified personnel and a favourable position, the SMEs were started to be set up only recently. Main fields are textile industry and wood processing. Foreign companies (Italian) are starting to invest in this region.
