History

The locality is documented as existing in 1365, but is mentioned in documents before 1300 as residence of a a Wallachian district belonging either to Hundedoara County ot Timiş County.

There are nine villages that belong to the Margina commune:

1. Margina - documentary attested in 1365

2. Sinteşti - documentary attested in 1511

3. Breazova - documentary attested in 1596

4. Coşteiul de Sus - documentary attested in 1548

5. Groşi - documentary attested in 1508

6. Zorani - documentary attested in 1507

7. Nemeşeşti - documentary attested in 1424

8. Coşeviţa - documentary attested in 1540

9. Bulza - documentary attested in 1598.
